stormdraconaAh the joys of random lethargy o.O Came home with another killer migraine, went an laid down an just KO'ed till 6:40 x.x
Today was the school fieldtrip to the "New York Film Acadamy" (It originated in NY hence the name theres even one in Boston an Paris lol) I sat and had a lovely conversation with a film teacher Nick(I can't spell his last name so at this moment I won't try though I have it written down o.o)
He was impressed I knew "Duel"(I saw Duel YEARS ago I was like...10. Now I own it since I got it for Christmas) was Stephen Spielburgs first movie-we sat an discussed it ~grin~ He then let the whole group play abit with the movie camaras O.O The 35 camara is cooooooll...so the 16. The different lenses are interesting to play with, they explained eachs job then had us mess with 'em so we can see how you do it if I ever get a digital video camara however even a cheap one I want one of those tripods they used. Makes is SO SMOOTH. Looking through those camara's..its like watching a movie screen literally its weird.
We got a more inside inside backlot tour of Universals lot where they film everything, passed "Mel Brooks" office/room whatever it is LOL, a tour of the 'library' that has oooold movies(and thier soundtracks), scripts and some computers for students to study(THEY HAD THE TEAM KNIGHT RIDER SCRIPTS!~spazz~ )In they're original ;P They also had Herbie Fully loaded(They store other peoples scripts as well apparently-though ones that aren't originated in Universal are probably copies)King Kong, Hannibal, Night of the Living Dead (we didn't get to cruise through the scripts for long so thats just a few names) then we saw the editing room, yep that was cool. Went to post production technically where the last touches were done to the movie/s
Dude they have 12 terabytes of storage-some was already taken up by movies that students made or such.(they store the finished movies but not in raw format. A student can come back 3 years later an they'll still have the movie ;P) HUGE ass monitor screens btw, and it was just so cool >3 I wish I had my camara-since they actually let you take pics O.O in some areas at least.
After all that our teachers(god I hate how snide Susan is, she bitched at poor Barbra who wasn't even driving the car we were in hey she said "I have no idea where we're going" then claims she knew we were going the wrong way...WTF?) Got to Togo's and Chipotle's but I wasn't hungry, actaully I was alittle car sick. (I HATE tiny little toyota's...I hit my head on the roof about 3 times an everytime we took a turn I hit the back side panal with my head...damn long upper torso's >.< I could see over the DRIVERS head ugh) but since I"m such a good student an Best Buy is RIGHT THERE next to these two places they let me go in BY MYSELF just saying be back in 20 minutes. Then Xan an Jayme wanted to come with me since they weren't hungry so I was in charge of them o.O;
But I got "Kenny Rogers"(yes I suck) the Golden Legends edition, I also got the Golden Legends edition of " '50's Legends" because I like the oldies.
Tommorow when I get home I have so much to do, but I decided since I've been working alot this week to take a small break, in this case watch some Knight Rider, enjoy two CD's I got from Best Buy and work on my room abit(okay so I said I'd take a break...but...its relaxing to work on it with stuff in the background? LOL)
Plus Moochies acting funny so we're watching him. If he ate something I dunno what because we cleaned EVERYTHING back there last weekend, all thats left is tiny beady things that are already blown away(an he was fine yesterday, its his brother that eats random shit not him) so eh.
