HOUSTON

..WE HAS A BABY!

3am I managed to get out there while she was pushing the nose out n.n she's been a PERFECT mama very mindful and protective. An dear lord that babys got an attitude, she walked right away from her mom to follow me around in the pen while I was cleaning it.

As you can see very good. Her show names "Storms Gold'n Image" because of Storm Stables, Goldies show name(MDMS Chantillys Gold'n brigade) an her daddys show name (MLF Sharper Image)

Barn name we're so far planning on calling her "Robin" in honor of my mother.

Cute baby! XD She a grulla?

[identity profile] stormr-d.livejournal.com 2008-02-18 04:09 am (UTC)(link)
We're arguing between Dun or Buckskin but she doesn't have the dorsel stripe so well see. Colors other then bay, black, and chestnut are rare in the morgan community I don't think Grulla even exists O.o

An she's very cute n.n

Lol, I thought Dun or Buckskin too at first, but then saw the no dorsal, lol. Maybe it's just the lighting outside, but she looks almost silver, which made me thing Grulla, as I saw pics of a grulla stallion on a foaling site as a foal, and he was silverish.

She does look almost silver, theres like 2 duns that I've seen as well as my trainer that were we can't think of the exact way the communtiy titles it but its a smokey dun which this are from my camara phone n.n; she has some smokey tinges so we're leaning to dun but we'll see in about 2 weeks when her hair sheds.

Don't Dun's have dorsal stripes though? Pr you thinking it might come in after she sheds?

[identity profile] stormr-d.livejournal.com 2008-02-19 08:22 pm (UTC)(link)
Duns have the dorsals yes but she's got a few traits of both so we have to wait for her to shed, if a black stripes there the rest of hers so pale we can't see the white yet, like on her legs n.n;

So I wasn't the only one! Lol

[identity profile] stormr-d.livejournal.com 2008-02-19 01:24 am (UTC)(link)
Vet says about 2 weeks she'll start shedding out, we know for sure her legs are going to be black in person you can see the white ;) We're trying to find the technical name for this particular form of 'dun' (its more or less a smokey dun but theres a name for it X.x; )

Horse colors are never simple :P 'White' in Walkers with the pink skin is 'Ultimate Sabino" which really, why not just call it white? XD
