Jus whoa last night...
Jan. 27th, 2005 10:26 amWow last night was amazing. I'm still not believing it. Carnie knew who I was before I got to go up an meet her o.o I remember looking over towards her an thinking 'I think thats her o.o' an she was all happy I was looking at her ~laughs~ Then Dr. Dahiya embarressed the hell outta me an I had to go up on stage-of course not before being pounced with hugs by Carnie ^^; She practically dragged me on stage.
I got my award after I recieved compliments for a good 10 minutes(I didn' know there was that much to compliment o.o;; ) Carnie called me ridiculously cute ^^;; An I read her plaque for being so helpful with helping morbidly obese people to her an then she was all "Oh now I gotta read yours!" all playful~laughs~ Now she wants me email an wants to give me hers (through Amelia because Media an bodyguards swept her away) she said she'd check up on me once a week n.n;
I think what made me the most emotional was thanking everyone, an then being told that I actually inspired people. After my story in the paper- tons of teenagers like me called the press about it. Then I had a school nurse ask if I was willing to come an talk to other teen girls like me an see if I could inspire them to help themselves. God I was very close to crying. Everyone seemed startled about how 'mature' I seemed. An they want me to come to other support groups as well an~falls over~ I was flooded at first no one noticed me really until Dr. Dahiya pointed me out an had me come up.
KTLA, E(whatever that is), an press telegram were there(I think KTLA they were supposed to come o.o) I'll get pics of my plaque so ya all can see. So last night I was busy person o.o
