Excuse me while I squee :P the GPS I got for christmas is so cool x3 Only two voices though :/ BUT! Anyways, male, female voice. The male sounds close enough to Damien I squee'd ;P

I programmed in the address book of School, and my house. Just one issue. The GPS so far doesn't seem to know where it is, first time it thought it was in florida or something(zooming out via sattalite the shape sorta gave that away..) then it thought it was near the salt lakes o.O; So uh...

Its not something I did, because its supposed to scan an know where it is o.o; but bleh I'll figure it out.

EDIT:

Oh ya forgot to mention, this weekend will be practicing parralel parking. An if we can schedule it, in a week I go take my drivers test >.>;;

Did you try laying your GPS out in an open area for about 5 or 10 minutes when you first turned it on? I had to for mine. It has to pick up all the satellites in your area and remember them before you go to use it.

I put mine down in a parking lot and just watched it till it said it was ready.

Yours talks?

Ya it does n.n Tells ya stuff like "intersection 40 feet ahead, turn left" etc. Its an uber fancy Magellen one o.o;

I'll have to try that later in the day I guess n.n

Dang! I didn't know they did that. I gots one of the cheaper ones, a Garmin Etrex. It does the job quite well for me. :)

Oh yeah, if you should travel...say an hour or two away from home, you will have to wait a bit for it to find it's position again. Pretty much the same as when you start it out the first time.

Well at least yours doesn't think your in a city about 45 minutes away from where you really are o.o;

The magellens automatically do it all n.n Constant updating via satalite...But for some reason its insisting I'm in San Fransisco o.O;;; Says the exact intersection etc. o.o;;
